Jan Briggs

Jan is a Broker Associate and has earned the ABR (Accredited Buyer's Representative), the GRI (Graduate of the Realtor Institute) and the CRS (Certified Residential Specialist) designations.

Jan has been in sales and marketing for over twenty-five years. She has consistently been in the Top Ten Realtors in Oklahoma and the Coldwell Banker President's Elite.

Jan has been married to Michael for 29 years. Jan and Michael have been blessed with four children and one grandchild.

Jan is active in her church and Holland Hall School fundraising. She supports March of Dimes, and has been a member of Rotary for over 14 years.

Michael Briggs

Michael is an Attorney licensed to practice in Oklahoma. Michael also holds a Master's Degree in both Finance and Accounting.

Michael spent 16 years in corporate lending, and then was President of a computer software and services company.

Michael grew up in the real estate business. His father founded a leading real estate brokerage firm in Dallas, Texas over 40 years ago.

Michael and Jan have been married for 29 years and have four children and one grandchild. Michael is a member of The Oklahoma Bar Association, The Tulsa Bar Association, the South Tulsa Executives Group, and supports the American Diabetes Association.

Ryan, the newest member of The Briggs Team is a recent graduate of The University of Oklahoma. Ryan studied Business and Marketing in preparation for his career in Tulsa Real Estate.

Ryan is the third generation in the Briggs family of Real Estate professionals.

Ryan is engaged to be married to Elizabeth Shook. Ryan enjoys golf and playing with his chocolate Labrador puppy, Kylie.

Jennifer has been a Realtor in several states! Her experience covers 20 years serving clients in Connecticut, North Carolina, and for the past five years in Tulsa, Oklahoma!

Besides a successful career in real estate, Jennifer's background includes owning and operating an Antique Store, and owning and operating an Inspection Company!

Jennifer and her husband Randy have two sons, Davis, 13, and Chris 12, who attend Monte Cassino. Jennifer is quite active in the Holiday Mart in Tulsa which supports Operation Aware. She is also very active at Monte Cassino, and in her church, Boston Avenue Methodist

Charlotte spent two years as Leasing and Marketing Director of a luxury apartment complex in Tulsa. Her experience has translated wonderfully to helping people find the perfect home!

Charlotte and her husband Jon have one daughter. Charlotte is active in her church and supports the Juvenile Diabetes Association.

Buying an old house to fix up has an attraction for many people. If you can find a house with charm and character, a renovation may enable you to create just the living environment that you want. You should start with a good real estate agent to help you locate the right house and recommend lenders who make both acquisition and construction loans.

Financing a renovation is perhaps the most difficult part of the whole project, especially if the house needs extensive work. Few banks will make these loans to people who are not professional developers. You should prepare for your loan application by having a written proposal. It helps to have an engineer's report or architectural plans and to include estimates from contractors covering the costs and timetables for the work to be done.
