Tulsa lies along the Arkansas River in a location that provides a fairly moderate climate during all four seasons. Winters are generally mild with occasional snowfall and relatively warm temperatures, while mid-late summer months are typically the warmest throughout the year with relatively low humidity and lots of breeze. Spring and early summer tend to be characterized as “tornado season” since Oklahoma is located within tornado alley, however, Tulsa receives most of its rainfall in the spring, which provides everyone who lives here and visitors with beautiful greenery and gorgeous landscapes of plants, flowers, and trees. 

The driest month in Tulsa is January, while May is the wettest receiving an average of 6.11 inches of rainfall.
